The image of the luxury ship tipped on its side is constantly being broadcast and the audio of the Captain abandoning the ship is played over and over again. Carnival Corp. has a very visible problem and needs to be highly transparent when dealing with this ongoing tragedy. In the first minutes of a crisis, the team has to go into action. How well have they handled this? So far, I think the major news headlines have shown a lack of management on behalf of Carnival Corporation. Social Media can be a great friend of a company or its own worst enemy.
